During a recent interview with MTV’s Sway Calloway, singer/producer The Dream opened up about Kim Kardashian’s sudden, and very brief musical experiment. Everyone knows that Kim is gorgeous to look at in general, so people might have been left wondering why they didn’t see more from her after her brief step forward into the music business last year.
As it turns out, her intentions were never to start a thriving career as a popular singer, but rather, a way for her to explore her talents and just have fun with making a song for the time being.
The Dream explained the situation in greater detail to Sway.
“I’m the one that actually called her to do it. This was very, very – believe it or not – a very fun moment for me. It’s one of my lightest musical moments. … It wasn’t about kicking off a singing career; it was us really having the power of TV and goofing off.”

The situation began to heat up after The Dream tweeted that “I haven’t done a show in close to two years. And since then, there’s like, four n*ggas that sound like me now. I’m just being honest,” which The Weeknd took offense to.
“Ham burglar lookin’ ass n*gga…ll i need are my brothers and my fans… f**k the bullsh*t. just gimme that gat damn allderdice god damm it! i’m too turnt up right now!! this n*gga is so hood, he thinks my name is the weekender…i was raised old fashioned, you get at me, i get at you… ain’t no sideways shit about it…”

After posting the link on his Twitter account at just close to 9 p.m., popular mixtape download website Datpiff received so many clicks that the server crashed as a result.
When Khalifa was made aware of the news, he tweeted Yea Taylors, We Crashed That S***!!! in obvious joy over the situation.
Wiz caught inspiration from his high school’s name in the titling of the mixtape, which has several features including his fiance Amber Rose who sings on a track.

Rihanna is clearly a celebrity who has a strong foothold on the A-list status, and never has to worry about being let into any establishment. While A$AP Rocky may be considered to be a rising hip-hop artist, his name holds less value as a “top priority celebrity” when it comes to being allowed into certain venues.
Last night (March 14th) Rihanna began her night by enjoying a delicious meal at the fine restaurant, Emilio Ballato, in New York City, before making her way to party hard at the Avenue nightclub. Jermaine Dupri was the DJ on deck at the club packed with various celebrities.
Rihanna was, as on-lookers have described it, “wiling out”. A$AP Rocky however, couldn’t even make it past the front door to have the chance to start “wiling out” in the club.
The Daily News reported on his club entrance rejection:
The Harlem-born rapper arrived at the Chelsea hot spot around 2:45 a.m., about the same time as artists Wale and Meek Mill, who were meeting the “We Found Love” singer inside the club.
Everyone had no trouble sliding past the velvet rope — except for Rocky. Famed doorman Wass Stevens, now on crutches due to a motorcycle accident in January, let the other artists and their groups breeze into the club.
But 23-year-old Rocky, considered by many to be a rising star in hip-hop, was stuck outside with a group of “about eight, mostly dudes.” The witness says the rapper “got really angry, and started yelling” at the injured doorman and actor, who kept his cool, but eventually called security to get the rapper to back down.
Rocky “was really upset,” says the source, adding that he watched the other musicians walk right by him into the club.

In a statement sent to XXLMag.com, Shyne said making peace with Diddy in Paris last week was a victory for hip hop, but also has positive ramifications for young Black and Latino men.
“You can’t overstate the cultural significance of what Shyne and Diddy reconciling means,” Shyne wrote. “You know I’m about it when it comes to them hammers, thus unfortunately this could have ended like Tupac and B.I.G. But what if Tupac and B.I.G ended like this and reconciled?”
“Let’s celebrate this moment as a historical event and a victory for hip-hop and Afro and Latin American men trained to exterminate each other,” he added. “It’s a new day! L’chaim!!!”
The rapper, who changed his name to Moses Michael Levi to honor his Jewish heritage, says squashing the beef sends a positive message to young Black and Latino youth.
“On a scale of what this says to African and Latin American men, who have been trained to self hate and to self-destruct, this is a watershed moment,” the proud rapper continued. “The paradigm shift that’s taking place as the way Afro and Latin American men deal with each other is tremendous. This could be a gigantic step in putting an end to the cycle of hate and violence that is self-genocidal and destroying the minority community by sending fathers off to jail or an early grave.”

Chris Brown’s longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran is reportedly scared for her life after she has been recieving death threats from Rihanna fans.
TMZ broke the story, revealing that Rihanna fans unleashed a tirade of violent threats on Karrueche, like “I hope Rihanna beat the dog sh*t outa yo a**!,” “Watch yo back” and “I will kill you.”
Karrueche is allegedly so shook up that she refuses to leave her home without Chris Brown’s security by her side at all times. It’s not surprising that she would take these measures for her safety considering the powers of social media pinpointing your every move.

Since recording and most recently shooting the video for his single Original, Mystikal is set to release his first album since his last LP back in 2001.
Recently, while on BET’s 106 & Park, he announced that the title of his upcoming project will be Original, the same as the single.
“I know y’all been waiting on that thing, and it’s gonna be titled Original. “Those six years I was gone, I never cried. I pouted and fussed, but during the making of this video, I was fighting back tears like Diana Ross.”
No timetable has been set for the release of the project.

Despite the recent acceptance of big booties, Coco recently revealed in an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine that she used to be very self conscious about her large, round bottom.
She recalls having been called fat by a photo shoot director at one point, and how his comment motivated her to do whatever she possibly could to tone up her figure and lose weight, especially in the back side region.
In the interview Coco stated:
“When I was 18, the J.Lo butt was not in. To have a booty was not the thing. You were considered fat if you had a booty. I was being cast in stuff where you’ll see all these really beanpole-looking white girls with blonde hair and big boobs. That’s what I wanted to be. I went and tried everything from diet pills to cleansing to everything you could possibly do to get rid of your butt. Bulimia – I tried that but I love my food too much.”
Her loving husband Ice-T showed her all the support any woman with insecurity issues could hope for over the years, as he constantly encouraged her to be proud of her curvy image, and that she was a beautiful woman.
“You got a little waist and a nice, round butt… That’s what’s unique about you. The boobs – anybody can go buy them.”

- 17-Year-Old RI Boy Gets License Revoked for LIFE (Blog)
You would have to be a pretty reckless driver to get your license revoked for the rest of your life at only 17, but that’s exactly what happened to Lyle Topa.
Topa seems like a worthy candidate for the punishment, considering he nearly killed himself and three passengers last October, when he street racing while drunk and hit a tree while trying to pass a car. One of the passengers was in a coma following the accident, but luckily survived.
Oh, and did we mention that Topa had his license revoked twice before? This is while driving with less than two years of driving experience.
The sentence may not hold up, seeing as how Topa or his family can always appeal the decision, but there’s no doubt that this has sent a strong message to teen drivers.

The highly anticipated Shady 2.0 set at South by Southwest is only a few days away, and if you can’t make it there the show will be broadcast live on youtube.com/fuse starting at 8 pm Eastern Time.
The show is billed as one of the biggest highlights of the week, as 50 Cent is set to take the stage and perform Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in its entirety. Fif’s performance will air from the Austin Music Hall live on Fuse TV at 12 a.m. EST.
Also announced on Tuesday was Yelawolf being dropped from the show after suffering a ruptured spleen, which he’s now recovering from.
